What did they mean he had to get a starter Pokemon in Nuvema Town when he can just easily befriend one? That is what they taught him back at the Ranger school right? This is a bunch of crap. A young top Ranger was walking into Nuvema Town, one of the first main towns you'll most likely see when you first hit the Unova region or in other words, the beginner stage. The Ranger was annoyed at the fact that the Ranger Union is making him do this. He would rather just go back to his home city, Mistralton City and work things there. He had better things to do then going through this baby crap like helping his own city or better yet, taken down Team Plasma. Now that is something he would love to do instead of given him this mission. He is starting to wonder if they are testing his knowledge as a Ranger so they put him on this task. If this is the case then be that way!
The Ranger had his arms crossed as he thought about what Pokemon he'll start with. There are so many different type of Pokemon that he can't even figure it out. He enjoys flying types, dragon types, and ice types Pokemon, better yet he enjoys all of them so how is he going to decide what Pokemon type he wants to start with? Well for starters he wold love to start with his home region Pokemon so he'll ask that question but now he must decide, flying, dragon or ice? Well if he get's a flying and dragon that would be interesting but most likely hard to train. Maybe he should just start with a flying type Pokemon. It'll remind him of his home city that has planes flying around and he enjoys flying. That's it, he'll get a flying type Pokemon and work his way there to get a dragon type later on.
Kouichi gave a small nod for an approval before he walked over to the professors lab. He walked up to the door of the professor lab before lifting up his hand to knock on it. He gave a deep sigh before he started speaking. "Is anyone there?" He questioned as he stepped back so that the door won't whack him in the face and then make him fall over. Now that would be really embarrassing; even thinking about it makes him shiver like crazy! Kouichi shook his head to get rid of the image that was popping into his head. No don't think that way Kouichi. Your a top Ranger, you can't make yourself look stupid! That'll be really embarrassing not just to me but to the Ranger Union itself. I'm such a derp head! |

The pink haired lady who inhabited the labratory wasn't surprised there was another voice at the door. There were so many voices lately. She was glad none of them were from Team Plasma though, maybe this voice was from Team Plasma. She'd have to shut the door in the person's face.
"Someone is here," She said. "If Team Plasma is asking, they should go away right now!"
Team Plasma wasn't a good team that's for sure, so the pinkette tried to avoid talking to them. Though, not all people were of Team Plasma. The pinkette pushed open the door, to see a some-what friendly face on the other side.
"If you're not Team Plasma and you're here for a starter, you're very welcome right now!" She chirped.

The voice coming from the building inside sounded like a woman's voice. So the professor here must be a chick then. To him she sounded a little nervous when she said she was here however, she mentioned Team Plasma which had got him to twitch his eyes a bit. If she thought a Pokemon Ranger was a evil villain then she defiantly needs to get out more. Kouichi would never join those thugs. He would rather kick them in the ass and put them in their rightful place but of course, The Ranger Union doesn't want him to do that yet so he has to take this one step at a time.
Kouichi growled a little bit before he sighed. "Did I scare you? I apologize but I'm not a member from Team Plasma, I'm actually a Pokemon Ranger name Kouichi Yuro, who is coming to pick up my starter Pokemon." He said in a calm voice before nodding. "Thank you." This might be the time he asks for his starter Pokemon so he needs to step forward and ask her but did he finally decide on what Pokemon that he wanted to start with? He knows he wants to start something with a Pokemon in the Unova region, his home region.

The pink haired inhabitant of the laboratory nodded at the boy. She really didn't care for his name. It was unlikely they'd ever meet again, but whatever. She'd forget it in an instant honestly.

A flying type? Did she have any of those? She wasn't sure, but she went off to to check. Her dark eyes skimmed around the room, looking for just the right Pokémon. He was a ranger, therefore he needed something, well, ranger-like. She wasn't sure what specifically, but he needed something.
Oh, he wanted something from the Unova region as well. Okay, that narrowed down the search.
The lady picked up a pokéball off the shelf and a starter pack as well. She headed back over to the boy and handed him the starter pack first.
"Be sure to treat this Pokémon well! Or else misfortune will be at your doorstep for sure." She said, handing him the Pokéball. [img]http://veekun.com/dex/media/pokemon/main-sprites/black-white/627.png[/img]
