[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=style,background-color: #EDEDED;][atrb=vAlign,top] [STYLE=width: 274px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px; line-height: 11px; color: #737678; padding: 5px; text-align: justify; border-bottom: #2F2F2F 8px solid;] █ IT GONE LONELY, AT TIMES, being a gym leader. sure, he had people around him that he could talk to, but none of them were truly his friend. he mostly just pretended to be their friend so he would have human company when waiting for a challenger. today was one of those days, too, where nothing seemed to want to happen. some challengers had wanted to fight him while he was away on business, but it seems none of them wanted to show up now. he wondered if they moved on to the next gym to get stronger, and come back for an easy win . . . i'll use grace and they won't stand a chance. i should do that, if someone tries to get an easy badge out of me. renly yawned and walked around his gym for a bit. some of his stronger pokemon were supervising inexperienced pokemon, which made for a funny sight. absol was trying to teach a pokemon how to actually aim their razor wind, while bee was trying to get one to use shadow ball properly. well, a pokemon was the best teacher for a fellow pokemon. it was actually somewhat of a miracle that anyone could see in the gym, though. the entire place was darkened to the point where everything was barely visible, and the only light were torches scattered here and there. renly had gotten used to the darkness long ago, though. when the door opened, the light blinded nearly every person in the gym. renly covered his eyes and tried to feel for his seat at the end of the gym. he stumbled a few times, but managed to make it there without brutally injuring himself. some of the people that had been training swarmed over to the newbie to ask questions - who are you? where are you from? what kind of pokemon do you like? what pokemon do you have? want to battle? - but renly didn't mind. he could watch them from where he was, and the battle could wait. he just wanted to know if this person would be good competition, or bad.
