[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,bTable][atrb=style, width:350px; border-right:50px solid #8BB381;][style=text-align:justify; padding:5px; color:#000; font-family:arial; font-size:11px;][style=float:left; border:8px solid #8BB381; margin:3px; opacity:0.8;][/style] the day had started out very quietly. a few trainers had shown up to the gym to try and fight him, but most hadn't quite been able to do it. and he didn't even use his trained - up pokemon. then again, mightyena and absol weren't even that strong compared to others . . . but he'd have to fix that! which was part of the reason why he took the rest of the afternoon off to go off and train his pokemon. in particular, he was trying to get the two he'd had the longest up to be strongest. renly let out a yawn and he walked towards the dreamyard, a bit excited to be there. usually, when he took off, his friend would give him a call about how he should be taking this job seriously, blah blah . . . but for once, the other male was quiet. renly was free to use the rest of his day the way he wanted to. when he got inside the dream yard, renly took out two of the pokeballs from his belt. " come on out, absol and grace, " he said softly. within a few seconds, both absol and grace - his mightyena - came out of their containment. the pinkette knelt down to gently pet both the pokemon, a smile on his face. after a sweet few seconds of petting, renly stood up, straightening his back. now, all he really had to do was walk around and wait for some wild pokemon to show up. that never took long, especially in places like this. he hoped that no one else would be there, though; he would hate to have to fight off more team plasma members. they never did learn, either. even after making a few of them run off with their tails between their legs, some still tried to steal his absol. as he was walking - absol and mightyena at his side - renly heard a noise. more importantly, the two pokemon at his side heard it. the three of them stopped, looking around for the source. could it be a pokemon? or a person? typically, pokemon don't ruffle a bush or cough before coming out to attack. at least, i think that's what that was . . . in any case, i'm almost positive it's a person, he thought. the pink - haired gym leader took a step closer to absol, protective. even if mightyena had been with him longer, she wasn't as big of a prize as absol. " be ready to use razor wind, absol . . . today was going to be a good day! jayden finally had gotten his first pokemon and the two were on their journey together. his chinchou had taken to him pretty well; the little fish pokemon was rather energetic, both literally and in personality. the little guy was an electric pokemon, after all -- and there had been a few times already where jayden had gotten himself a shocked. but, that was what he got for touching chinchou's antennae. and so, as jayden made his way through the dream yard, he glanced around curiously as if expecting to see something dream-like.

hell, what was this place, anyway? jayden had never been here before, as living in accumula town all his life meant that he'd never really been anywhere else. well, besides nuvema town. how could he forget where he'd first met chinchou? thinking of the little guy made him smile, and so he pulled out the pokeball from his belt and tossed it lightly into the air. "come out, chinchou," he said, laughing. he would never get used to this. the little blue pokemon materialized from out of the pokeball, and blinked his plus-shaped eyes a few times before turning around to look at his trainer. jayden waved a little, but before he said anything else, he heard someone..well, talk. but quietly.

almost immediately, he grabbed chinchou and dove into a nearby bush, hoping he hadn't been seen or heard. of course, it was almost a stupid thing to think considered he'd just rustled an entire bush, but who knew? maybe it was just a plasma jerk and they would be too stupid to realize someone else was there. jayden peaked out from the bush just barely, only his eyes becoming visible between the leaves and branches. there was a pink-haired male who had rounded the corner into the opening where jayden was. the guy looked like a normal trainer, but who knew with plasma nowadays? they tended to lie every chance they got.

he got a little disturbed however, when he heard the guy tell his pokemon to get ready to use razor wind. not wanting to get attacked by such a move, he slowly came up out of the bush, small leaves caught in his hair. "okay, we give up!" he exclaimed, a small, and yet nervous, smile on his face. chinchou popped up out of the bushes next to him, smiling. "chin...chou?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,bTable][atrb=style, width:350px; border-right:50px solid #8BB381;][style=text-align:justify; padding:5px; color:#000; font-family:arial; font-size:11px;][style=float:left; border:8px solid #8BB381; margin:3px; opacity:0.8;][/style] renly and his pokemon waited quietly, hoping for some more clues about what the sound might have been. he was pretty sure at this point that it had been something going through a bush. maybe hiding? or maybe they'd just scared a pokemon away. if he was a wild pokemon seeing a trainer with two other pokemon, he would have run away. he knew that much for sure. the three slowly moved towards the area that the sound had come from. the pinkette really hoped that nothing would pop out and scare the shit out of him. just as he was about to tell absol to attack, a man and a pokemon came out of the bush. the gym leader studied the man, trying to get a feel for what he might be. renly guessed the male couldn't be part of team plasma. and if he was, what was the problem? the green - haired boy only had one pokemon that the pinkette could see, and he doubted it could take on any of his real team. he was pretty sure one shadow ball from bee would take down the little chinchou. as much as he would love to see that, though, renly felt a bit bad for scaring the boy. he was just so cute that it seemed a shame to do anything bad to the boy. renly smiled softly and waved for his pokemon to calm down. almost instantly, the two relaxed. he sighed, noticing the leaf in the boy's hair. " sorry. thought you might have been . . . someone else. or something else, " he said with a soft smile. he took a few steps closer, brushed the leaves out of the green haired male's hair, and then went back to where he had been. " that was, uh . . . annoying me a bit. hehe, i'm a bit ocd when it comes to stuff like that. but, um, i'm renly~ gym leader at striaton city. and who might you be, hm? "

[/b] he asked, going into his perky - mode. he hated when people saw him actually being serious. it wasn't that often when it happened around other people, and he'd like to keep it that way.
